Define objectives:
- Students will be able to explain the key political, social, military and battle aspects of Vietnam War.

- Students will be able to analyze the elements of the Vietnam War that were studied in class in order to provide an answer.
- Students will be better able to relate to the overall lesson, and Vietnam Veterans from CT.

What type of game/storyline:
- The format of the game will resemble a combination of the game of Life and Trivial Pursuit, with the path flowing over South Vietnam. The path will crisscross battle locations and major points of interest. Students will have to make their way through the following levels:
  1. Political
  2. Home Front
  3. Battles/Conflict in Vietnam

“Game piece:” Students will choose from one of 6 CT veterans that served in Vietnam (number to be determined). Students can be paired up, or play individually. Students will role a dice, which will determine the spaces they may move in each level if they get the question correct. If they answer incorrectly they may not move on. We do need to determine how many spaces will be in each level (or do we want students to answer so many questions per level and in that case there will be no rolling of the dice).

Challenges:
- The questions per level will serve as the challenge in this game.

Design Rewards:
- The reward at the end of this game should be some type of class material (pack of highlighters, pencils, erasers, etc).
